Neil has been designing and building bespoke furniture since 1995 and during that time has worked for a wide range of private and commercial clients.
Having graduated with a degree in Ergonomics Neil spent a year working at the NHS consulting of the layout of clinical areas before moving into product design, initially at Ogle and then Addison Design. Working on projects as diverse as the layout of train cab interiors to petrol station styling, he became increasingly involved in the construction of test rigs and models. It was, therefore, no great surprise when he turned his back on the daily commute and set up Woodwork Bespoke Furniture where he could combine his ergonomic skills and his talent in furniture design and construction.
In addition to numerous private clients, Woodwork’s business clients have included the Torpedo Factory Group, Hertford College, Mews Interiors, Pavillion, and during a period spent as part of Oxford Sound and Media, Net-a-porta, Sonifex and the BBC.
